Relax into a thinner you
Specialists at Mayo Clinic recognize that many complementary and alternative medical treatments, such as hypnosis, can help promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness. HypnoSlim.Me specialists are skilled at integrating hypnosis into an overall treatment plan when it's appropriate.
Hypnosis is a state between wakefulness and sleep. (Sort of like being asleep, dreaming, thinking you are awake and cannot move). While in a hypnotic state, the client is fully conscious and in complete control. While in a hypnotic state, change is easily achieved. (It is only in Hollywood and the silver screen where hypnosis is represented as mind control. And, those in hypnosis stage shows are volunteers – thus, ultimately, in control).
Hypnosis is neither sleeping nor being unconsciousness. It is, however, a secure, relaxed state of well-being.
Most people are hypnotizable. Regardless of what one may want to believe to the contrary. (For instance, watching a movie, daydreaming, etc.) However, without the willingness and cooperation of the participant, one cannot be hypnotized. Unless one is mentally incapacitated, anyone can be hypnotized. Yet, not everyone should be hypnotized. Those with psychosis and epilepsy should not be hypnotized.
Paranoia can interfere with achieving a hypnotic state as one may be too over vigilant to relax; too in control and overanalytical to relax.
A hypnotist is a facilitator, they are not in control of the participant or client. Generally, one seeks a hypnotist to gain more control over themselves and their life. Through the hypnotic state, one can easily do and feel how and what they want. They can gain control and empowerment in their lives. They can also control over-analysis and critical thinking.
The subconscious mind plays a functional role in hypnosis. The subconscious mind, the inner mind, is like a computer. The subconscious mind controls our breathing and all other automatic bodily functions and behavioral patterns and habits. It is not easy to communicate with the subconscious mind. Most behavioral patterns are programmed into the subconscious mind before the age of seven. In late years, subconscious programming is attained through repetition (affirmations), trauma, and hypnosis.
Hypnosis is the fastest and easiest way to influence the subconscious mind and create behavioral change. Primarily, changing habits and emotions without discomfort and stress is through hypnosis.
Habits are difficult to change. The conscious mind resists change, even when the subject consciously wants the change. Until the subconscious mind agrees, the change will not happen.
Consequently, the subconscious mind maintains unwanted behavioral characteristics and habits, creating inner conflict. Yet, when the subconscious mind realizes the benefit of change, it will easily support the change.
When the subconscious and conscious mind work in unison change happens with little to no stress. Thus, “What you can conceive you can achieve.” The subconscious mind accepts what it imagines as real.
The Mayo Clinic recognizes hypnosis as a complementary and an alternative medical treatment.
